Biography
Dr.Qiao is a Senior Consultant and Head of Ophthalmology Department, Children Hospital of Shanghai. She is also currently the membership of American Academy of Ophthalmology.She is an experienced surgeon and specializes in microsurgery treatment for refractory children and adults strabismus, nystagmus and Crouzon Syndrome. Dr.Qiao completed her pediatric ophthalmology fellowship in world well-known Children Mercy Hospital Kansas. She is also enthusiastic in promoting public welfare undertakings and involved in several charity projects, including Orbis International and vision project in Tibet. Dr.Qiao has published more than 20 peer reviewed papers in various Ophthalmology journals and has contributed book chapters in various textbooks of Ophthalmology, including the well-known Color Atlas of Strabismus Diagnosis and Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Pediatric Ophthalmology.
Research Area
Dr.Qiao main interest is in pediatric ophthalmology, including management of a range of eye problems in children, such as refractive errors, amblyopia, retinopathy of prematurity, congenital and acquired children eye diseases.
